Eddie Brock was beyond confused. First he was in his own dimension. Then he has transported to another and heard of this wanted criminal, Spider-Man, AKA Peter Parker, who oddly seemed familiar to Venom. Then he is sent back to his home dimension 2 days after he arrived. Eddie wasn't sure what happened, but Venom was certain it had something to do with Spider-Man. After learning one existed in their own dimension, the duo decides to take a visit to New York, to learn more about this Spider-Man and wether he was friend or foe.
Meanwhile, Patrick Mulligan, former detective of the NYPD had been possessed by an offspring of carnage named Toxin, who is trying to hunt down Eddie Brock and Venom, to complete his father's mission. Eventually, he realized he was gonna need some help. And he knew just who was perfect for the job. Someone...in NYC.
