Waking from a terrible nightmare, Kimberly Jansen (Estella Warren) is dazed and confused. At her hospital bedside, the doctor (John Hannah) reassures her that there is nothing to be afraid of – the bad dreams are merely a side-effect of the sedative he had given her the night before when she had turned up hysterical and desperate for help.
But Kimberly’s nightmares won’t go away and in their grip the terrible truth begins to dawn…she has been raped and her attacker was none other than the trusted and well-respected doctor. Her accusations are dismissed by the townsfolk as some twisted fantasy, but Kimberly vows to prove she’s not lying. Her quest threatens to tear the small prairie town apart…until finally the shocking story of what happened that night is revealed. |
