Rent Bitter/Sweet (2009)


Renowned coffee expert Brian Chandler has a perfect life with a great job and beautiful fiancée. When his boss sends him to Thailand to inspect an exotic crop for purchase, Brian meets Ticha, a beautiful Bangkok PR executive who has long-since given up on the prospects of finding love. As a favour to her rural coffee farmer parents, Ticha agrees to drive Brian to the plantations of Southern Krabi, in the hope that he'll purchase their bean crop. The only problem with this plan is that Brian and Ticha cannot seem to stand each other. But as the couple journey from the cosmopolitan bustle of Bangkok to the beauty of the white sandy beaches of Krabi, their relationship mellows and becomes much more than just a coffee deal.
