When a robbery near London's Tower Bridge turns sour and one of the bandits winds up dead in Barberini's Circus, it is only a matter of time before stolen money is traced to the big top.
When another body turns up, this time the knife thrower's glamorous assistant Gina, Scotland Yard soon puts Inspector Elliot on the case. Suddenly panic begins to sweep through the circus as it becomes clear there is a murderer in their midst.
