Barbarella is marked by the same audacity and originality, fantasy, humour, beauty and horror, cruelty and eroticism that make comic books such a favourite. The setting is the planet Lythion in the year 40,000, when Barbarella (Jane Fonda) makes a forced landing while travelling through space. She acts like a female James Bond, vanquishing evil in the forms of robots and monsters. She also rewards, in an uninhibited manner, the handsome men who assist her in the adventure. Whether she is wrestling with Black Guards, the evil Queen, or the Angel Pygar, she just can't seem to avoid losing at least part of her skin-tight space suit!

As Jon finds himself drawn towards Cathy in a way he has never experienced before, he begins to question everything that he has become. Torn between Cathy and the Tattooed Man, he becomes Mr In-Between. But the Tattooed man will not tolerate a rival. Joe must act and fast. Everything is at stake: the safety of his friends and the redemption of his soul.
Gary, Rick and David are American teens with one thing on their mind. They move from party to party, trying out their latest chat-up lines, which usually ends in miserable failure for Gary, as he's more interested in finding true romance than a quick fumble in someone's parents' bedroom. So when Karen arrives at their school, Gary falls head over heels in love, but Rick's baser intentions towards her threaten to break up their friendship for good. Championed by Eli Roth (Hostel) as one of the most underrated films of its era, 'The Last American Virgin' is a raucous but also surprisingly intelligent and sobering look at the hideousness of growing up, peer pressures, misplaced expectations and unforeseen consequences. It's also a superb snapshot of the early Eighties music scene, with the soundtrack featuring Blondie, Devo, KC and the Sunshine Band, The Police, U2 and many others.
An epic saga weaving together extraordinary stories of alien abduction, as experienced by three families over four generations, Taken is a breakthrough series, unprecedented in TV history.
