Two mismatched lovers arrive at the British seaside town of Scarborough, seeking an escape from the constraints of real life. Liz (Jodhi May), beautiful yet desperately shy, seems older than her companion, the happy-go-lucky and impulsive Daz (Jordan Bolger).
