- The beautiful and elegant Daisy has been scarred by a troubled and traumatic childhood. With a Hollywood film star mother and exiled Russian prince father, her life should have been privileged and perfect but her parents angrily split after her domineering father's refusal to accept Daisy's brain damaged twin sister and the tragedy is made worse by the death of her mother in a car accident.
