Ben Keats (Gil Bellows) is a family man and the hardworking president of a hi-tech company who are revolutionising the fight against crime. Impressed by his success, a rival firm hires headhunter Vincent Palmer (Christian Slater) to offer Keats a job. He turns the offer down...but Palmer is not a man who takes no for an answer. What begins as gentle persuasion soon turns into something far more menacing. Palmer invades Keats' life. Nothing is sacred, no-one is safe - his wife and young daughter are terrorised, their lives threatened; his company faces financial ruin and his boss and long-time friend dies in suspicious circumstances. The psychotic Palmer, it seems, will stop at nothing to get what he wants...
This is hopefuly not based on a true story as often is the case. Quite entertaining but also very unrealistic. A convincing performance by Christian Slater who did recommend himself to play in "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" in London's West End with this movie ( if the film was shot before that time?)
