- Synopsis:
- Based on actual case histories of people born without immunities, John Travolta plays such a boy who has to grow up in a specially controlled isolation bubble. Although protected from germs he is exposed to complex human relationships, particularly with the outspoken teenage temptress Glynnis O'Connor. Taunting and challenging she brings a brightness into his closet world and makes him realise that the one small step which might mean death also separates him from freedom.
