HAMPSTEAD - Hampstead review by BK

Spoiler Alert

This film needs to be watched when you have no other pressing engagements to worry about.

It is slow moving and beautifully acted. It is well cast as Gleeson & Keaton are credible protagonists.

It highlights class differences; the hypocrisy of people trying to fit in with social protocol, which means avoiding the Truth at all costs.

The ending is real and not 'fairy-tale' like. Thoroughly enjoyable for a dull winter's day viewing.

Varied Life on the Heath - Hampstead review by KW

Enjoyable romcom with excellent performances from Ms Keaton and Mr Gleeson and a cast of British actors enjoying themselves in the supporting roles. My one gripe was that I could have done without the Heath Ukulele ensemble which was totally over the top!

Have enjoyed this film more than I expected. The lead actors are charming and the true story is quite touching. Do watch it.
