- Synopsis:
- While a group of women, all of them sisters-in-law, wait for their husbands to join them for a long-overdue reunion in an old summer villa, they talk over coffee. As their conversation turns to the subject of marriage the oldest sister, Martha (Maj-Britt Nilsson) discusses her relationship with the oldest son. Thus begins a frank and revealing series of confessions exposing past indiscretions and marital secrets. All the while, Marta's unmarried younger sister, Maj (Gerd Andersson), has wedding plans of her own...
