- It's the week before the wedding and Reba (Brittany Murphy) bails out... unfortunately so does her ex-fiance when he tops himself, leaving a decidedly guilt ridden Reba... So begins her return to her hometown Spooners, and her unexpected meeting with fellow grief stricken Zack (Sean Patrick Flanery), who also isn't over the death of his wife, to the extent that he still carries her skeleton around with him... Through the tears and the laughter will they ever be able to fight through their grief to realise the true attraction between them, and can their matchmaking family help them get them together and leave behind the ghosts of their past...
