The story follows the conflict between two of the most famous biblical brothers, Jacob and Esau, as they fight for their father's affection and inheritance. Jacob flees and shelters with his scheming uncle, Laban, but meets and falls in love with the beautiful Rachel. Jacob suffers the cruelty of his deceitful uncle and endures years of pain and suffering as he strives to win the love of Rachel.
