In this taut action thriller Remar (George Clooney) is the perfect golden boy gone bad. His career as a professional surfer brought him money, women and cars, but it didn't meet his expectations. Mow the idyllic youth is transformed into a rebellious gang leader to a bunch of wild and unruly drug-dealing surfers. Remar learns that his girlfriend (Dedee Pfeiffer) is pregnant and wants him to leave the gang. But just as he is deciding, trouble ensues with a rival gang that leads to a deadly war. Will Remar be able to leave the gang in time, or will be become just another victim of the streets?
