ALWAYS REPORT AN ACCIDENT!

Looked forward to watching this but in the end was left a little disappointed. Eraly part of the film was good but the situation dragged and I think advice from Stephen King would have helped. Does make you think - what would I do?

Stuck in the middle

Stuck is based on an actual real event from 2001 that sounds ridiculous and impossible, but did actually happen in Texas. Mena Suvari plays an enthusiastic resident care worker, extremely efficient and enjoying life until she is involved in a hit and run, and decides to literally speed off. The unique aspect is that the victim is wedged in her windscreen and is barely alive. Stuart Gordon and the scriptwriter took this unbelievable story and revamped some aspects to suit this film. The documentaries and commentary are worth viewing after watching the film for more detail about their decisions. This is a tale about choices and making the right one in life. Suvari and Rea are excellent, with Mena also taking on producing. Stuart Gordon was responsible for the classic Reanimator, and here he has crafted another low budget film that keeps you entertained until the end. As you’d expect from the director, the elements of gore here hammer home the brutal collision with some startling makeup, but Stuck is no horror.
