- Synopsis:
Season 2 starts on one of the hottest days of the year, the first responders feel the pressure as harrowing incidents keep happening around the city, including a road rage accident involving a van full of tourists, an emergency at an auto-repair shop and a grenade. Meanwhile, Buck gets a surprise visit from his sister, and a handsome new hire Eddie jeopardizes Buck's chances of being chosen for a fireman calendar. It’s been four months and Athena (Angela Bassett) wants to keep still secret her relationship with Bobby (Peter Krause), even though he wants to take her out to a real date. A new firefighter arrives at the firehouse Eddie Diaz (Ryan Guzman), who graduated top of his class this week and makes Buck (Oliver Stark) feel threaten by him for his chances to take part in the annual fireman calendar. Chimney (Kenneth Choi) also wants to be in the calendar, while Buck’s big sister Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) has come to visit him after three years, but the real reason is that she is avoiding her abusive husband. Buck, in order to help her, proposes to take a job as a 911 dispatcher, while a big earthquake hits Los Angeles. - Actors:
