- One summer long ago, a young girl and boy were brought together by a dog. The summer came to an end and they never saw each other again. Years later, Jessica (Andrea Roth), now in her thirties and recently widowed, decides to start over and move back home with her son. However, her plan goes awry when she discovers that her family home has been sold to a very handsome thirty-some-thing man named Michael (Nicholas Brendon). While Jessica and Michael vie for ownership of the house, sparks begin to fly. Jessica thinks she's not ready for a man in her life. But with the help of her family, some luck and a very special dog, Jessica realizes the blessings in a plan gone wrong.
