The only piece of British soil to be occupied by the Germans during World War II, the Channel Islands are the setting for 'Enemy at the Door' - a gripping and sometimes harrowing account of the appalling dilemmas and daily hardships faced by the Islanders living under Nazi rule. Focussing particularly on the experience of the Martels, a Guernsey family, this acclaimed series stars Bernard Horsfall as Dr. Philip Martel, with Alfred Burke (Public Eye) as Major Richter and Simon Cadell as the brutal, ambitious SS Hauptsturmfuhrer Reinicke. This complete-series set contains every episode of Enemy at the Door, originally screened between 1978 and 1980 and produced by Michael Chapman (The Bill) and Tony Wh'armby (Supernatural, Bones).

Set in WW2 Guernsey it charts the occupation from collaboration, fraternisation etc which occurs in occupied countries. This is not an action series but a series about the lives of the Islanders.
