Robby Smith and Rose Parks are two lost souls. Mentally disabled Robby still lives with his over-protective family and ex-alcoholic Rose is regarded as a 'bad' woman, so Robby's parents react with predictable horror when the two fall in love. But they have failed to gauge the strength and purity of Robby and Rose's feelings for each other - a situation complicated by their secret marriage. As Robby's parents launch a legal battle to reclaim their son, can Rose prove that her bad reputation is far from merited?
