Rent St Martin's Lane (1937)

Vivien Leigh plays Libby a haunting stunning creature, who melts into the role of street hustler and petty thief, she attracts the attention of veteran "busker" street performer Charles Saggers (Charles Laughton) who befriends the gifted young performer and falls head over heals in love with her and she becomes part of his street act, they are soon noticed by theatre impresario Harley (Rex Harrison) who is mesmerized by Libby and falls deeply in love with her and they marry against the wishes of the besotted Charles This impossible love triangle reaches a dramatic conclusion as Libby's career rapidly ascends and Charles is left behind.
