After she arrives at her parent’s remote lake house, Mari and her friend are kidnapped by a prison escapee and his crew. Terrified, brutally assaulted and left for dead, Mari’s only hope is to make it back to her parents. Unfortunately, her attackers seek shelter at the same place. When her family learn the horrifying truth, they make the strangers curse the day they came to The Last House On The Left.
Horrific, brutal and thrilling.

I wasn't a fan of Wes Craven's original 1970 film, which was a cheesy low budget and often amateurish movie. And while I'm not a huge fan of remakes, Dennis Iliadis' film is undeniably one of the best horror films of recent years. The core story is taken from the original film and updated into a gory, brutal and thrilling film with a solid cast, great direction and a storyline which will pretty much have you hooked from start to end. This is a film which should be on the top of any horror fans rental list.
