- Synopsis:
Rainbow Brite is a little girl who's life is dedicated to bringing beauty and happiness to the Earth. She is assisted by her magic Colour Belt, Star Sprinkles, her faithful horse Starlite and her personal sprite Twink and lives a charming life with the Colour Kids in the wonderful Rainbowland. But not everything is always peaceful; they occasionally get opposition from Murky Disman and Lurky from the gloomy Pits, who's sole aim is to bring gloom and misery to everything good. Thankfully Rainbow Brite and her friends are on hand to stop them at every turn.
Chasing RainbowsMurky creates a robot clone of Rainbow Brite to cause confusion and trick everyone into doing things his way. The real Rainbow Brite must face-off with the imposter and regain control of Rainbowland.
Rainbow Night
Murky kidnaps Moonglo, the colour kid who puts the beautiful, soft colour in the night. Rainbow Brite must rescue her to restore happiness to the nights in Rainbowland and on Earth.
Murky's Comet
Murky strikes a bargain with a sorcerer to create a comet to destroy Rainbowland. The plan goes awry when Murky discovers that the comet will also destroy The Pits. Murky, much to his dismay, must seek out Rainbow Brite's help in averting the disaster.
Invasion of Rainbowland
A cute little alien, who gets his energy by absorbing colour, crash-lands in Rainbowland.
He doesn't want to, but he's draining all of the colour from everything. Rainbow and her friends must get his flying saucer fixed before there's nothing left of Rainbowland.- Directors:
