- In this adventure swirling with cliffhanging excitement and awesome special effects, Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton play scientists pursuing the most destructive weatherfront to seep through mid-America's Tornado Alley in 50 years. By launching electronic sensors into the funnel, the storm chasers hope to obtain enough data to create an improved warning system. But to do so, they must intercept the twister's deadly path. The chase is on!

Good effects, rotten story - Twister review by RM
A film packed with stunning effects but let down with a weak story and awful script, the acing is a bit corny to. But if bored and you love disaster movies it will not disappoint.

The movie is exciting and engaging and will keep you hooked from start to finish. The film has thrilling action sequences and impressive special effects(even if a little dated today) its sure to keep you engaged.I thought storyline was compelling and Helen Hunt and Bill Paxton performances make for a truly entertaining experience. Overall, Twister is a great choice for anyone looking for an exciting disaster movie that delivers on both thrills and entertainment.Classic.
