The seventh season of the original Law & Order, which aired on NBC during the 1996-97 US TV season, saw a new actor joining the main cast. There's no crossover with Homicide: Life on the Street this season, but later on in the season there is a three part story which sees Briscoe and Curtis working on a case which begins in New York and sees them going to Los Angeles. There are 23 episodes in the seventh season, and should appear on the six discs.
