Six friends, talent-less and unfit, form a seven-a-side football team. They call themselves Brazil. They plan to play soccer until they win. This is a comedy of delusion, of the survival of the unfit-test in the face of humiliation and inevitable defeat. On and off the pitch their movements are the same - shuffling, stumbling then staggering, the pratfalls of endearing losers. Their most formidable opponents, of course, are the women they love but can't stand - demanding wives and girlfriends. Sexual adventures give way to prosaic thirty-something coupledom.
