- Synopsis:
- 'The Hero' is a film which reflects the present conditions of our country. The intelligence agency of the neighbouring country creates unrest and terrorist activities day in day out in our country. Our government tries to overcome it in different ways. 'The Hero' is a story on this backdrop. The army officer Arun (Sunny Deol) forms a network to fight these terrorists in different ways and trains a young shepherd girl Reshma (Preity Zinta) also as a part of this network. During this training Arun and Reshma fall in love but their love falls prey to terrorism and the two lovers are separated.
