Enjoyable Thriller
- Flightplan review by CP Customer
Set almost entirely on an aeroplane this suspenseful thriller kept us guessing most of the way through. Of course there are some holes in the the plot (aren't there always) but fine performance from Jodie Foster and cast more than made up for this. A very good 90 minutes viewing.

Predictable.

I liked this movie, but it didnt have enough suspense. As always Jodie Foster was excellent but the plot lacked the thrill it could have had. Great idea for a story but I am sure more could have been put into it, to really make you nervous.

Not the Rightplan

With the writing, directing and acting credentials involved in this film, i did expect somthing rather special. Instead i got a average, plugging along thriller, with a dreadful twist in its tail (i.e. dull) and some 'acting by numbers' from the usually excellant Ms Foster.
It just feels like nobody cared about this project, and so the film ended up barely leaving the runway.

This Is One Flight You Won't Mind Missing

Jodie Foster is renowned for only making a handful of quality movies, The Accused, Silence Of The Lambs and Taxi Driver to name but a few.So when I saw this film was coming to DVD it was a must rent. The premise is simple Jodie Foster and her daughter get on a plane bound for New York, she falls asleep and when she wakes her daughter is missing, this is the central plot for the entire movie.Sounds good, yes?
The only problemm is that it isn't good, the directions haphazard the tension barely builds and the script is plane(excuse the pun)awful. You feel that the film would have been a classic in the eyes of a great director, as it is its straight to the woolies bargain bucket for this one.Avoid

Not what I expected ...

I found Flightplan to be very 2D tbh, I thought it would be scarier and have more mystery. I didn't think it would be quite uninspiring and irritating tbh.
I wouldn't watch it again if I knew what I know now.

Suspense thriller
- Flightplan review by CP Customer
A good thriller set on a new high tech passenger plane that the Jodie Foster character designed. After a traumatic trip, in which her husband dies, Foster and her daughter are flying back to the US. Her daughter goes missing and no one seems to know where she is, or even if she ever existed. Foster plays a mother desparate to find her child extremely well, and you really feel for her when the crew keep trying to fob her off, thinking she must be traumatised after her husband's death. Some good twists and turns, with plenty of red herrings thrown in. A good evening's viewing!
