- Synopsis:
- Back to Earth takes place after 'Series Ten'. Kochanski's dead and the crew are hurled through a portal and discover they're just characters from a TV series. Knowing they will die in the final episode the Dwarfers, in best Blade Runner traditions, track down their creators to plead for more life. First the crew attempt to track down the actors who play them in the series and their metaphysical odyssey begins...

One to watch twice - Red Dwarf: Series 9 review by JD
There are some glorious moments, Rimmer pushing the other hologram in front of a car was such a good scene (it was the build up that makes it) but generally it feels like a tidying up episode. Lister's romantic dreams etc. There were a few things I didn't appreciate until I watched the bonus disc (which was pretty good) but maybe I would have got them if I had watched it twice. Generally funny but not very polished.
