16 Blocks (2006)
Bruce Willis hits the mark as Jack Mosley, a broken-down New York City police detective assigned to escort a petty criminal from the precinct to the courthouse. The seemingly simple 16-Block journey becomes a test of character for them when Jack's ex-partners attempt to stop them. It's the gripping story of how two men change each other during a tense 118 minute struggle between life and death.

Standard cop story
The usual tale of police corruption in NYPD, with a 'good cop' trying to protect the star witness and get him to the court house on time. Although there is nothing new here, it is enjoyable and a good evening's viewing. Bruce Willis is good as a washed up alcoholic trying to live an easy life. Mos def is also good as the witnes, although we did have to put the subtitles on to understand some of his dialogue!
