An historical drama from director Anthony Kimmins, Bonnie Prince Charlie stars David Niven as the man commonly known by that name, Charles Edward Stuart. The film chronicles his efforts to defend Scotland against the English and sees him return from exile in 1745 to lead his followers into battle - though his leadership ends with the Battle of Culloden Moor.
