It was all a bit obvious and boring. I though Christopher Plummer played a good part though, otherwise poor film.

I agree with the previous comment. 2 stars is generous. Boring, boring. I am sick of films where you cant understand what they say!!

I really enjoyed this film and was surprised how much I had never known about this case (Fred West). Scary too. Emily Watson is brilliant in whatever she does.

Weird & strangely upsetting as couple try to adjust themselves after a near disaster avalanche. Very slow, quite boring. The character who played the visiting friend looked like a Nordic God!!

It was an ok film, but I didn't love it. A bit disjointed with times moving, not sure what was real & what wasn't. Good actors so shame about the film.

For me this was too slow a build up to the actual event & I stuck with it even though I found it boring.

This is my kind of film. In space, exciting & full of suspense. Had me looking through my fingers a couple of times due to gore!! Ignore some of the miserable reviews - it is good. Good actors.

I don't know much about American politics anyway & what I know I don't understand. Although it was well acted the speech was so fast it was hard to keep up. Stuck with it, but only got interested about 2/3rd through. Hard work!

Only watched this because of the actors and even then only watched about 1/3rd of it. Too fast speaking and boring for me. Shame!

I enjoyed this, I watched it twice & I never do that straight away. It was ok. I was glad it had such brilliant actors in it.

I had to start watching this film twice as it was so fast moving & I had forgotten the original as it was so long ago. Ended up enjoying it.

This is an excellent film shot from a different point of view from a lot of war films & as an ex-librarian I am fascinated how books capture some people in their live.

A very good film. It captured my imagination in that whole period of time in American history. MC is an actor that I can watch again & again.

I didn't think I was going to like this film. Very unusual though & good actors in it too. Cried my eyes out.

Although good actors, a very weak film whereby the story could have been made a lot more of. An interesting plot but a bit repetitive.
