The usual tale of police corruption in NYPD, with a 'good cop' trying to protect the star witness and get him to the court house on time. Although there is nothing new here, it is enjoyable and a good evening's viewing. Bruce Willis is good as a washed up alcoholic trying to live an easy life. Mos def is also good as the witnes, although we did have to put the subtitles on to understand some of his dialogue!
You CAN judge this film by its cover. None the less its a good film to watch and you find yourself warming to the 2 main characters and genuinely fearing for there safety. The film maintains good pace and a little twist at the end makes for a satisfying film in my opinion.
