"The Music Man", the joyful film of the 1,375-performance Broadway smash, remains a skyburst of Americana as irresistible as 4th of July fireworks. Robert Preston recreates his Tony-winning Broadway triumph as "Profesor" Harold Hill, a con artist arriving in River City.
