Starring the Barbarian Brothers, also known as Peter and David Paul, 'The Barbarians' was Ruggero Deodato's attempt at muscle-bound sword, sorcery and sandal-wearing fantasy. Twin barbarians, Gore (David Paul) and Kutcheck (Peter Paul), set off on a mission to avenge their tribe, The Ragnicks who were brutally massacred years before by an evil warlord simply named Kadar (Richard Lynch). This amazing looking and engrossing action-packed movie from the much-missed Cannon Group is loaded with montages of oiled-up biceps and clashing blades.
