Synopsis:
When a series of murders in the run up to Christmas are found to be linked, FBI Special Agent Natalie Parker (Kate Schroder) is tasked with tracking a pair of psychotic serial killers. But she soon discovers the couple are not only crazy, having met in and escaped from an asylum for the criminally insane, but they've based their murderous personas on Santa (Simon Phillips) and Mrs. Claus (Sayla de Goede). As Christmas day nears, the bloodthirsty duo slaughter their way through their very special naughty list, playing a deadly cat and mouse game with the FBI, and leaving a trail of gruesome bloody bodies in their wake.

Entertaining, fun thriller with 'grand guignal' horror - The Nights Before Christmas review by PV

I really enjoyed this. It's a thriller-cum-horror with OTT and crasy Santa and Mrs Claus. Real panto stuff!

Clearly influenced by 'Silence of the Lambs' in parts, this film never gets boring - it keeps up the pace and craziness throughout.

Slick sequel - The Nights Before Christmas review by AER

Spoiler Alert
18/03/2022

This exceedingly silly horror sequel sees Simon Phillips, Sayla De Goede and director Paul Tanter return to make sure our Christmasses are bloody. The plotting and script is super dozy, and some of the supporting actors are a bit lame. However, Simon Phillips as Killer Santa delivers another demented tour-de-force in his signature role. It looks the business with slick cinematography, beautiful snowy locations, and cool SFX, however it's all a bit same old same old, not to mention predictable. This sequel is a moderate improvement on the first one, but on the whole it's still a bad, bad, bad movie.
