"The Walsh Sisters" follows five Irish sisters - Anna (Louisa Harland), Rachel (Caroline Menton), Maggie (Stefanie Preissner), Claire (Danielle Galligan), and Helen (Máiréad Tyers) - growing up and navigating life in Dublin during their late 20s and 30s. Their family life is chaotic, messy, and full of love: their devout mother, bemused father, romantic entanglements, addictions, heartbreak, parenthood, and sibling rivalries all feature. Despite resentments, hand me down resentments, and old wounds, their shared history, DNA and a fondness for power ballads keep them together.
