After a daring train robbery, London becomes just too hot for Little Walt's Gang. To escape the clutches of the monstrous Superintendent Mungo. Little Walt, Willy the Poet, Bikini. Squirts. Lorenzo and Specs buy an abandoned monastery on the Isle of St Pancras off the Cornish Coast and pretend to be monks.
The criminal gang soon finds that it isn't easy living the monastic life - and old habits die hard. Vows of poverty soon give away to a massive counterfeiting operation. while the vivacious Barbare Windsor challenges poor Ronald Fraser's vow of chastity! And when bathing beauties, nosey tourists and genuine monks all decide to visit the island, everything descends into unholy chaos! With temptation around every corner, the crooks haven't a prayer keeping their secret....have they?
