1976 Thames Television series featuring an incredibly young Pauline (teenager of @16-17 at the time - was she really known then?) with her later Birds of a Feather co-star Linda Robson, plus a teenage band called Flintlock that I've never heard of, but plays ok. The 4 lads also are involved in acting in the multiple sketches in front of a live screaming, mostly female audience. Some man plays a news announcer and tries often to humiliate Pauline as she descends some stairs in a dress.
Some humour, boys long haired, clean, neat and fashionable but endure lots of food smacked in faces or tipped over heads. After about 3 episodes of the classic 70s screaming and Pauline's own constant shouting, probably acceptable to all the girls, it grated on my nerves, so I gave up and sent it back.
Don't know if Pauline wrote any of the scripts, there wasn't anything in the titles.
Her later programmes ANGELS, BIRDS OF A FEATHER and I particular a non-comedic one called THE SCULPTRESS (which I thought she was excellent in) showed her acting skills. She gained an MBE but is retired now, sadly with dementia.
