- "Bandit" is a fun caper and based on one of the most extraordinary crime stories of the twentieth century. Gilbert Galvan Jr (Josh Duhamel), a charming criminal, escapes from prison and assumes a new identity. After falling in love with Andrea (Elisha Cuthbert), a caring social worker he can't provide for, he discovers he is exceptionally good at robbing banks using the most elaborate schemes. With the help of loan shark gangster Tommy (Mel Gibson), Gilbert's heists go bigger and bolder - until his perfect plan finally goes wrong.
