- Acclaimed actor/director Kenneth Branagh shakes up Shakespeare again with a dazzling and imaginative adaptation oi the classic comedy romance done in the elegant style of a thirties Hollywood musical. The King of Navarre asks three fellow Oxford students to swear an oath forbidding them to see any woman for three years so they can devote themselves to study. A But when the Princess of France and her very attractive entourage arrive for a visit it puts them all in a rather tricky situation. Can the four bachelors resist romantic temptation and stay true to their single promise?
