Shallow Killers - New Town Killers review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
09/10/2009

New Town is a fancy area of Edinburgh, although this film takes place across the city. It is a low budget thriller that tries so hard to be another 'The Game' or 'Shallow Grave' and fails, becoming forgettable and lacking finesse. Dougray brings his usual bad guy persona to the film and the big name actor feels out of place here, detracting from events. Bankers playing with peoples livelihoods for kicks is something we've all endured of late. This film does neither side justice.
