- Synopsis:
- When your land is your life it can't be bought. A Scottish Highland sheep farmer (Bernard Hill) must fight to keep his land and livelihood against a band of ruthless big-city land developers. When he turns down a generous offer, he sets himself against his local community. Teaming up with a sympathetic widow, he soon shows the townsfolk the importance of a traditional way of life he so fiercely defends. Bernard Hill stars in this emotive tale of pride and the battle to stand by one's principles.
