Synopsis:
At the Deanfield Experimental Station work is underway to create the first perpetually-orbiting space station. There is much tension behind the scenes: chief construction engineer Steve Mitchell (Howard Duff) grows close to beautiful mathematician Lisa Frank (Eva Bartok), while Steve's wife Vanessa (Cecile Chevreau) becomes unusually friendly with biologist Philip Crenshaw (Andrew Osborn). When an unmanned rocket fails to return to Earth MI5 investigator Dr. Smith (Alan Wheatley) suspects that Steve has killed Vanessa and Philip and hidden their bodies on board. Steve is forced to take a rocket into space to clear his name.
His journey is already underway when he discovers he has an unexpected companion...
