- All schoolgirl Mary Katherine Gallagher (Molly Shannon) wants in life is a kiss. Not just any kiss, mind you - a big-time, hold-your-breath-'til-you-think-you're-gonna-faint, Hollywood-style kiss. Dumb and unfunny. - Superstar review by CP Customer
I loved Molly Shannon in Mike White's 'Year Of The Dog', but this is pure drivel. If it's not embarrassing enough to watch a 34 year old woman pretending to be a 15 year old girl, it's even worse that the entire film is devoid of any comedy. Even Will Ferrell was terrible. As a 5 minute Saturday Night Live sketch this would have been mildly amusing, but as a 80 minute film it was dumb and unfunny.
