Synopsis:
'Snatch' meets 'Goodfellas' in this violent and satirical crime drama. Plato (Andreas Karras) runs the Bezonians Social Club in North London, where generations of Greek immigrants have gambled away their savings and partied over the decades. When Plato makes the mistake of playing poker with devious bombshell Lola (Lois Brabin-Platt), the fate of the club - as well as his very life - is threatened. Only the suave Achilles (Savvas D. Michael), bruiser Costas (Peter Polycarpou), hardhead Buster (Nicky B), wily Mike (Chris Tummings) and sweet Anthony (Jamie Crew) will stand by Plato as he faces an intimidating threat from Lola's boyfriend - the sadistic Willard Greb (Vinnie Jones).

A very odd film - The Bezonians review by AB

Spoiler Alert

This tale of Greek communities in north London is a very strange film. The story wanders around , possibly with allusion to Greek myths. At one point, a mother tells her children the story of Orpheus and Eurydice, with absolutely no connection to the plot that I could discern. Vinnie Jones has a role as a hardman/hitman and I suppose he is the main draw. It is all rather amateurish film-making. Not recommended.

Rambling, incoherent nonsense - The Bezonians review by DL

Spoiler Alert

"'Snatch' meets 'Goodfellas' " says the synopsis. In reality, it's just a hotchpotch of vignettes that are barely related. I have no idea what the film was attempting to be, but if it's trying to emulate the films it purports to, it fails miserably. Jones does his usual thing, but adds nothing even in a cameo role. I persevered hoping for some kind of thrilling denouement, but even that was disappointing and flat. Forget Greek, this is a Turkey!

Not even worth a single star ! - The Bezonians review by PM

What a rambling load of twaddle, really don’t even bother.

Very low rent amateurish production , would have been ok at your local amateur dramatics but for a film on general release, appalling.
