Synopsis:
What would you do if you thought your hamster only had a week to live, your chickens are attacking you with machine guns, and your Nan is just not giving you the space to spread your wings? When Harry and his Nan (Julie Walters) discover their hamster is seriously ill they set off on a road trip to Blackpool pursued by a lunatic vet (Simon Bird). Along the way, Harry falls in love with an undersea shell person (Sheridan Smith), witnesses canine superstars 'The Dachshund Five', and meets indie rock band 'The Magic Numbers' - who run a B'n'B. It all culminates in a fight on top of The Blackpool Tower.
Who could be behind it all? Could it be Harry's evil twin Otto (Matt Lucas), who was separated from Harry at birth and brought up by Alsatians?

Really silly, really childish and really funny! Great fun! - The Harry Hill Movie review by PV

Spoiler Alert
30/04/2014

This film is very silly and childish, but it is really good fun too.

Misery-guts reviewers gave it 2 stars out of five - maybe because it didn't involve wallowing in poverty porn and northern gritty realism with lots of northern accents.

For me, this film made me laugh out loud several times, and I enjoyed the arch humour and knowing asides. The pace is snappy (unlike most movies which are overlong) and the scenes are imaginative, with the plot veering off the thin plot to add shell people and a mad section with The Magic Numbers.

The songs are pretty unmemorable, but that is OK, as are the amateurish versions of pop and dance tracks.

Nice to see the film references too - to those Japanese monster movies, as well as Jurassic Park and others.

All in all, an enjoyable and fun ride. 4 stars.

Worst film ever - The Harry Hill Movie review by MN

Spoiler Alert
31/03/2015

I like Harry Hill and the TV burp program, this movie was nowhere near as much fun, it is probably the worst movie I have ever watched, with some very talented people in it I was quite surprised it was so bad, the script was non existent and the jokes awful, Harry you could have done so much better it was as if you didn't even try, sad.
