Jessica Sheppard is a San Francisco police inspector prowling the wharf for a serial killer whose victims all have one thing in common: her. The investigation becomes more and more twisted as her partner (Andy Garcia) behaves strangely, and the police commissioner (Samuel L. Jackson) is being asked to remove her from the investigation as she is a prime suspect. All the clues point to her and Jessica begins to suspect that she might be the killer she is looking for...
Good plot with plenty of red herrings

Above average thriller with loads of possibilities to keep you guessing 'whodunnit'. The twist was not a great surprise, but there were plenty of alternatives which crossed my mind while watching. I think 'nail-biting' and 'pulse-pounding' is a bit over the top. Interesting would be a better word. Some good acting, although a few of the cops are very sterotypical.
Above average thriller (just) with an interesting twist at the end. More than enough possible "suspects" to keep you guessing most of the way through and creditable performances from Judd, Garcia and Jackson. Certainly worth a rent.
A story that is incoherent and defies analysis, clumsy dialogue, acting that should be good, (look at the cast) and is not. The script, if it ever existed is awful, the direction-amateur. This is so bad it should be funny, but sadly it even fails at that! The actors should have had a whip round to buy the rights and stop it being shown.
Not Bad, fairly obvious TWIST though !!

An pretty reasonablre Thriller, Samuel L is good as ever. Ashley Judd's looking a bit ropey now though & definitely doesn't suit the cropped hair. Picked upm on ineviatable Twist quite early which is reflected in the sub plot, so a bit diasapointed in that.(Too much Poiret & Marple has put paid to any inferior "whodunnits" like this.)

We enjoyed this thriller although we did get most of the clues provided so the final revelation was not a total surprise. There weren't many gory bits and those were fairly mild. Sex was not overly explicit which is how I prefer it.
