- Workaholic, New York lawyer Nathan (Romain Duris) is always on top of his game. He's one of the best in the business. There isn't a case he couldn't handle. But his highly organised world is about to unravel with the appearance of the sinister and mysterious Dr Kay (John Malkovich). Dr Kay isn't your average client. He claims to be The Messenger, capable of foreseeing death before it strikes. Initially sceptical, Nathan is soon drawn into the strange and intense world of Dr Kay. Angel of death - Afterwards review by JD
The beginning is quite shocking with parallels to meet joe black. The plot then gets a lot more unusual. Duris is not an actor I have noticed before, in this he is pretty convincing as a mean businessman and callous ex-husband, but still manages to bring you round to his viewpoint. Plot, acting and strong emotion. Worth 104 minutes.
