An instant oddball classic - Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert

Donnie Darko is a film full of wonderful imagery and a puzzling storyline. This is suburbia painted like never before with a memorable set of characters who are totally unaware that they are living through the last days of planet earth.

Weird and wonderful things start to occur and slowly the plot comes together, but for some it will remain out of touch. Darko is a film worthy of repeated viewings and this director's cut with extras is the best place to start.

Quirky but brilliant SciFi - Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut review by JD

Its been a long time since i last watched this so thought id give it another go.

And it didnt disapoint. Its quirky, but brilliant. And being older i could appreciate it even more.

Although it looks like a low budget film it has some quality actors, both Gyllenhaals are brilliant and there is a brilliant soundtrack.

Its one of those rare films that doesnt do things just because 'the plot says so'.

Its fantastic and ive not even mentioned the weird and fascinating storyline for the film.

Im giving it 5 stars, this is superb stuff.
