Synopsis:
John Simm brings the tenacious Detective Superintendent Roy Grace to life on screen in these thrilling feature-length adaptations of Peter James' bestselling novels. Hard-working Brighton-based detective Roy Grace has given his life to the job, but when the drama opens, his career is at rock bottom and the disappearance of his beloved wife, Sandy, still haunts his thoughts. Following another reprimand for his unorthodox methods, Grace risks being moved from the job he loves most. But his colleague Detective Sergeant Glenn Branson (Richie Campbell) knows Grace has more to give and asks him for help.
Over five fast-paced stories, Grace brings his steadfast, determined and sometimes unconventional approach to solving Brighton's most complex cases, doggedly pursuing the truth - even if it means bending the rules to get the job done. Adapted by acclaimed screenwriter Russell Lewis, Grace also stars Rakie Ayola as ACC Alison Vosper, Zoe Tapper as Cleo Morey and Craig Parkinson as DS Norman Potting.
